General Dentistry
The unglamorous half of dentistry — and the half that decides how the rest of it goes.

What this covers
Almost everything expensive in dentistry began as something small that nobody looked at. General dentistry is simply the habit of looking, early and often enough that the small thing stays small.
A routine appointment here is a full examination rather than a glance: teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and soft tissues, with digital X-rays taken only where they will genuinely change what we do. Digital sensors need a fraction of the radiation of traditional film, and the image appears on the screen beside you rather than in a folder you never see.
We set your recall interval from your own risk rather than from habit. Some people genuinely need three months; plenty are fine at twelve. Either way you will be told why, and it goes in writing along with everything else.
